What is Microdermabrasion?
Surely you have heard about microdermabrasion, and it is one of the most popular aesthetic procedures.
It is a soft but deep exfoliation that is performed on the skin, is not aggressive and can be performed on sensitive skin; there are procedures that only reach the superficial layer of the skin while others can go deeper.
A kind of special pen is used and contains microcrystals at the tip, slowly exfoliating the skin and at the same time vacuuming up dead cells. The movements are applied with moderate pressure and do not require anesthesia. It can also be applied to other areas of the body besides the face such as the neck, neckline and back.
Unlike traditional exfoliation that only reaches the top layer of the skin, microdermabrasion can reach the dermis. This helps the application of serums and creams go deeper.
Sessions are short, can last up to 30 minutes, for a complete treatment, it is important that at the time of the assessment, the specialist indicates sessions and the interval between them that you should do for an optimal result.
